Nudged my Xbox 360 while it was on, could it be damaged?

I was listening to my Dream Theater DVD on my Xbox 360, and I nudged my Xbox 360. Could that damaged my Xbox 360 or my Dream Theater DVD?
My 360 is laying horizontally and the nudge was so light I’m not even sure if it moved. If it did move it could have only been less than a quarter of an inch.

My friend did this once, I was round his house and we were playing Gears of War. He went next to it and accidentally nudged it. It fell over (as it was standing up, obviously). There was this horrible grinding sound and then when it stopped he turned it off, took it out and there was a ring of scratches going all the way around it! So if it didn’t fall over, chances are it is OK. But if you heard a loud grinding sound, check the disc as it may be screwed.
