If I do a license transfer to some dlc on my xbox 360, does the original owner lose the ability to use it?

I downloaded some halo maps off my friends account. If I do the license transfer, can he still play them on his xbox?

Yes, he can, but when he wants to get some DLC maps or anything, he can’t anymore because you took all the permissions away from his XBOX. His account is still there, except it’s just a recovery, not permanent.
