Xbox 360 Model Problems?

I had my xbox 360 for 3 years then it broke. Microsoft said it would cost 200 dollars to fix. I traded in my wii and payed 200 bucks to just buy an elite.

I had the elite for 5 days and error messages kept appearing. Tonight I took the elite back under warranty to Game.

Game replaced the console but not with a elite console advertised for 2009 xmas bundle, but rather took one out of a 2008 xmas bundle box. I took it home and the power box is about double the size. The layout of xbox live is that of one about 12 months ago, without the recent updates, whereas the first elite had the recent layouts.

I buy off of these guys a lot and am rather embarressed to go back in and say u gave me a 12 month ago elite, i want this xmas elite. I mean the power box is double the size, what if the hardware, e.g. cooling stuff, isn’t as good as this xmas elite. Should i do it?

You have the right as a paying customer to have the newest hardware avalible, If you payed for and got a 2009 model then they downgraded you its there fault. As a store manager we do this as little as posable because that is not the way we want to be treated. Now there has been very little hardware upgrades since last year minus the new power supply, its all the same sized tech inside. But if you feel ripped off then let them know, calmy and in a nice voice, and they should try and help you as much as they can.
