Should i even bother buying a hard drive?

i am planning to buy the xbox 360 arcade and just play a couple games on it casually. I problably never will get more than 5 games…

We have internet that is only 28kbps download, so downloading game demos would be hard depending on how big they are.

Our internet is slow DSL and i could play halo 2 on live without any lag, but do you need faster internet for a xbox 360?

So considering these things, do i even need to buy a harddrive? When i got live for the orignal xbox i got bored of halo 2 in like three weeks.
If i just played like halo 3 and c0d4 single player and did no online stuff, could i get away with no hard drive but do game saves still?

i could buy a used hdd for $20

so
1. how big are demos from xbox live?
2.do you need faster internet for the 360 live vs original xbox live?
3. Does the arcade have enough space to save 3-4 games?

Yes, you should buy a hard drive. Game demos take up about 1 gig a piece. You don’t need faster internet for 360 live, but it is recommended to get faster internet for lagless play. The arcade does not have enough space to save 3-4 arcade games. Or, if you are talking about saving profiles and stuff to games, it doesn’t have much space for that either. So I would go ahead and get the 20 dollar used hard drive, but remember to format it before you use it! 20 dollars is a great price for a hard drive.
